Environmental Policy
Being a company based around natural products, we take our responsibility to the environment and responsible purchasing very seriously.
Sustainable and responsible sourcing
We aim to source only ethically produced and sustainably sourced products. While we try to support local business as much as possible, the use of essential oils requires us to purchase wonderful scents from all over the world. We therefore only purchase from ethically conscious companies who purchase their raw materials from sustainable sources and encourage, or provide support for the farmers and their communities.
We constantly monitor our ingredients and supplier policies to ensure all products are produced without any animal testing.

Our packaging uses products made in the UK where possible. The cardboard boxes, tissue paper and padded delivery bags are all made in the UK and from recycled paper or card.
The british wool padding is grown and manufactured in the UK rather than being exported out of the country to be processed.
We feel passionately about supporting the british wool industry. Wool is such a versatile raw material and by using it as protective packaging for our glass bottles and having an ongoing use as a support pillow bag filler, we are able to demonstrate this directly to our customers. Using wool filler works perfectly for our products as it helps keeps the bottles cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather during transport.
Our handmade wool felt bags are made using felt manufactured in Europe. These provide a snug wallet for our bottles to ensure they are kept safe while being kept cool in summer and warm in winter. They also benefit from being reusable if a refill is purchased or for storing jewellery, makeup, coins or cards (size depending).
Our cosmetic bottles are sourced locally, less than 40 miles away from our production room. All are recyclable or reusable. We use glass bottles with aluminium lids in our production so that these can easily be washed, sterilised and used time and time again.
We use 100% organic cotton for our printed fabric and 100% pure European hemp linen for our plain fabric. Both are unbleached and certified organic with Oeko-Tek certification. The printed cotton fabric is also GOTS certified and printed using waterless OEKO-TEX Eco passport certified inks just 20 miles away from our production room.
By choosing 100% organic cotton and hemp, the fabrics do not leach any chemicals or plastics into the environment when washed and are 100% biodegradable.
Our cotton logo labels are made in Wales by a socially and sustainably conscious company who consistently aim to reduce their carbon footprint and using fabrics with Oeko-Tex certification.

The coloured cords for our products are also certified OEKO-TEX and are made using recycled cotton threads which are mixed to make the colours meaning no chemicals, dyes or even water, are used in the manufacture of the cord.

Oeko-Tex certifications ensures that fabrics, fibres and dyes do not contain harmful substances at any time of its production process.
GOTS certification ensures that the fabric has been produced in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way at every stage of its production.
Reuse before recycle
We aim to have a reuse before recycle policy across our business from production methods to packaging and ongoing use.
Nothing gets wasted. Any oils coming to the end of their life which cannot be used for sale are used to make cleaning products for the office or body products for the team.
